We are RAMANATHANS, pioneers in the field of training with more than five decades of experience in training people from various walks of life. From 1963 to 1972 we conducted training in Mumbai and from 1972 onwards, we are based at Chennai. In the last 61 years of training, we have so far conducted 6,000 training programmes covering more than 1,35,000 persons.
We specialize in conducting public programmes at Chennai during weekends and In-house training programmes during weekdays for several organizations, both in the public sector and private sector, both in India and also abroad. We conduct programmes in various states of India. Though 95% of our programmes are conducted in English, we also conduct programmes in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu & Malayalam.
Our training programmes are highly practical & result-oriented, with a combination of lectures, exercises, presentations, video recording, group discussions, role-plays, games etc. and hence the participants find the same to be extremely useful. Repeat programmes are conducted at all the corporates in which we conduct In-house training programmes and that itself justifies the usefulness of our In-house programmes. Our best ambassadors are our past participants and our clients.
The third generation has started attending our public programmes, which also proves the productivity of our training and our public programmes.
We conduct regular public programmes during weekends, at Chennai on “Effective Communication, Public Speaking & Personality Development”
We also conduct Summer Vacation Courses for Students, every year, during April, May & June.
We conduct In-house training programmes during weekdays for several organizations on various topics.

Ravi Ramanathan, Director of Ramanathans Effective Public Speaking Institute is an international trainer and has professional experience in designing & conducting training programmes for the public as well as In-house training programmes for various organizations in India & abroad (All over India, almost all the states, right from Himachal Pradesh to Trivandrum and also abroad like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Raz Al Khaima, Bahrain, etc.).
Ravi Ramanathan is basically a Chartered Accountant & Cost Accountant who worked in L&T for six years, after which due to his passion for training quit his job and joined his parents and became a full-fledged professional trainer. In fact, Ramanathans Institute founded by his parents Late Sri. A.N. Ramanathan and Late Mrs. Meena Ramanathan is in the line of training for the past more than five decades.
He has been conducting training programmes for the past 32 years and has conducted over 4,200 training programmes and has trained more than 88,000 people. A powerful speaker, trainer & leader who enjoys conducting his training programmes. His training programmes are highly interactive. His expertise lies in innovating & customizing the training programmes to suit the organizational culture & needs.

For his contribution in the field of training, Ravi Ramanathan has received a prestigious award from the Governer of Tamil Nadu in 2023. He has also received other awards like “Outstanding Your Person” award from Junior Chamber & “Guiding Star Award” by Lions Club of Madras City.
He successfully conducted 51 programmes across 28 states in 2023 for the Health Ministry, Government of India. This was done in English, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil.
Ravi Ramanathan has given several interviews for several TV Channels like SUN TV, SUN NEWS CHANNEL, JAYA TV, JEEVAN TV, DOORDARSHAN & Srilanka’s SAKTHI TV. He has also given lot of programmes for ALL INDIA RADIO. He has contributed articles for several magazines & newspaper journals.
